FOUNDER AND CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Heather Pierucki, LMHC
Heather built Island Clinical Supervision because she saw how fragmented and stressful the prelicensure experience could be. She wanted something better for clinicians in Hawaiʻi.
With more than a decade of clinical experience and over ten years of supervision, she leads the platform and oversees the supervision model that everything here is built around.
Why she built this
Finding quality supervision in Hawaiʻi is harder than it should be. Prelicensed clinicians often piece things together on their own, navigating scattered emails, informal arrangements, inconsistent documentation, and the constant uncertainty of whether they are on track.
Heather built Island Clinical Supervision to solve that. The goal was a structured, professional supervision experience where the systems, the scheduling, the documentation, and the guidance all live in one place so clinicians can focus on becoming better at their work instead of managing the logistics of getting there.
Clinical background
Heather has been working in the mental health field since 2011 and providing clinical supervision since 2013. She received her LMHC license in 2014 and has maintained active standing with the State of Hawaiʻi since then.
Her clinical work takes a person centered, reality therapy approach. She specializes in working with high performers, high achievers, and individuals navigating periods of feeling stuck. That same directness and focus shapes how supervision is structured here.
